Size Availability

As mentioned above, we highly recommend you review our Easy Sizing Guide. Our sizing is based on going down one full size from your length measurement on a standard US Men's Brannock device. For example, if you measure an 8 length on a standard US Men's Brannock device, you would select a 7 length with our sizing convention.

Are you looking for women's sizing? Measure yourself on a standard US Men's Brannock device, or use this Size Comparison of the Standard Model Branonck Device Foot Measurers for guidance. We highly recommend you contact a JK Boots specialist for any assistance if you don't feel comfortable sizing yourself.

Sizing FAQ

  • I've ordered boots from other PNW and non-PNW bootmakers in the past. Should I order in the same size as the other companies?
    • We recommend going through our Easy Sizing guide. While our sizing may be similar to competitor models, we highly recommend using our specific sizing guide only. Each bootmaker is unique, and while we may use comparable lasts, it's best to trust our sizing system to ensure you get the best fit. A conversation with a JK Boot specialist can help clear up any sizing questions.
  • I've ordered JK Boots previously, but it's been some time. Should I re-order in the same size?
    • If you've previously ordered boots from us and feel confident of their fit, you should re-order in that size. However, it's always a good idea to measure again if it's been a few years.
    • You can always review your past orders to see what size(s) you've purchased. Just click the account icon in the upper right of our website next to the search and cart icons. Contact customer service if you need help finding the previous size ordered.
  • What if my left foot and right foot are not the same size?
    • If you need to purchase a pair of boots with mismatched sizing, please call a qualified JK Boots Sales representative to discuss sizing options and assist you with your purchase.
  • What if my width measurements fall between two sizes?
    • You should choose the narrower of the two widths. Our recommended experience is for your foot to fit snugly into the boots like a firm handshake without pain. The heavy-gauge leather will form your foot over time, offering you a more comfortable fit that will improve with wear.
  • Do you have any recommendations for taking measurements, like wearing socks or anything else?
    • You should wear the same socks you plan on wearing with your boots. Additionally, if you work on your feet all day, take measurements at the end of your day when your feet are fully expanded from the pressure.
  • What if I don't have a printer or if I don't feel confident enough to take my measurements?
    • If you're not confident enough to obtain your measurements or do not have a printer, you have several options! You can visit nearly any shoe store in the US to get an accurate length measurement on a standard US Men's Brannock device. However, you'll still need to obtain your foot's ball circumference to know what width to select. A standard tailor's tape can be purchased from almost any online retailer or by visiting a local fabric or crafting store. Use the tailor's tape to measure the ball circumference of your foot, which you can learn how by visiting our Easy Sizing Guide
  • I was able to determine my length and width sizes, but the stock or made-to-order boot I want doesn't offer that length and/or width. What are my options?
    • If you cannot find the length and width sizes for our stock and made-to-order boots, you'll need to look at our custom boot collection. Custom boots offer expanded sizing options and an ample array of features not available with our standard and made-to-order boot models.
